SMALL GROUPS

 

We are organizing small groups for five to six weeks of study and fellowship

to be held in people's homes. 

We need your input on what day/time works best for you. 

Watch for a bulletin insert on Aug. 22 asking for you to indicate your interest,

or call the church office. 

Hosts and leaders/facilitators will also be needed. 

We are planning to start sometime in October.

GARDEN PRODUCE EXCHANGE
Bring your excess garden produce and place on the table near the Communiations Desk.  Take waht you can use and place a donation for Harvest of Hope in the basket provided.    Questions?  Contact Barbara Miller

 HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

The Witness Commission has agreed to provide lunch for Habitat for Humanity work crews on

August 20. 

Donations of food and cash will be accepted. 

 Any cash not needed for the meals will be donated to the local Habitat for Humanity. 

Help with preparing and/or delivering the meal on August 20 is needed. 

A signup sheet for donations and help can be found on the Communication Desk.

 

(THANKS!  to everyone who helped serve and who donated food for the two meals delivered in July.  It was greatly appreciated by the volunteer workers on the house being built on Clay St in Cedar Falls.

Prayer Chain

as the way we notify our church family when there is a concern that needs immediate prayer.  Members are notified either by e-mail or phone.  If you are not a part of the prayer chain and would like to be added, please contact Marlene.
